  1. Contact the hotel property directly first — All Hyatt properties have a Guest Services team on-site. For issues during a stay, ask for the General Manager immediately. Most resolvable issues (room quality, billing errors, service failures) are handled fastest at the property level.
  2. Call Hyatt Guest Relations — 1-800-233-1234. Ask specifically for Guest Relations (not general reservations). Have your stay confirmation number, property name, and dates ready. Document the rep name and any case reference number.

Mark S. Hoplamazian — President, CEO & Chairman (CEO since December 2006; Chairman since February 2026)

Hoplamazian is one of the longest-serving CEOs in the global hospitality industry. Before joining Hyatt, he spent 17 years at The Pritzker Organization (TPO), the Pritzker family’s private investment arm, ultimately serving as President. He joined Hyatt’s board in November 2006 and was named President and CEO that December. Over his nearly two-decade tenure, he has overseen Hyatt’s 2009 IPO on the NYSE, its transformation to an asset-light model, the acquisition of Apple Leisure Group (ALG) in 2021 for $2.7 billion which added the Inclusive Collection brands, and the 2025 acquisition of Playa Hotels & Resorts. In February 2026, following Thomas Pritzker’s board retirement, Hoplamazian was appointed Chairman — combining both roles. He holds a BA in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He was named Cornell’s 2025 Hospitality Icon of the Industry. Joan Bottarini — Chief Financial Officer
