About

Urban Air Adventure Park is the nation’s largest indoor adventure park franchise, founded in 2011 in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and part of the Unleashed Brands youth enrichment platform. Parks convert vacant big-box retail spaces into family entertainment destinations featuring trampolines, climbing walls, ropes courses, laser tag, VR, bowling, and fast-casual cafés.

Urban Air reached its milestone 200th location in late 2025 (Lawrence Township, NJ), after opening 21 parks and signing 30 new franchise agreements in 2025. The system generates $600+ million in annual revenue, with average unit revenues of ~$4.96M (2.0 parks) and ~$5.95M (2.5 parks) per the 2025 FDD. Mandy Dowson was appointed Brand President in January 2026; prior Brand President & CEO Jay Thomas departed December 2024.

How to Escalate a Complaint

  1. Contact the local park General Manager first — franchisees have direct authority over guest refunds and incident reports.
  2. Submit corporate complaint at urbanair.com/contact-us — include park name, date, issue description, all prior contacts, and specific resolution requested.
  3. File with the BBB for your specific park’s state chapter (each location has its own BBB profile).
  4. File with your state AG for membership billing fraud and deceptive refund practices. Massachusetts residents: mass.gov/ago or 1-617-727-8400.
  5. Dispute charges with your credit card under FCBA for unauthorized membership charges and unfulfilled refunds.
  6. File with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov for systematic billing and cancellation policy violations.
  7. Consult a personal injury attorney for injury claims — Urban Air waivers cannot shield against gross negligence, and franchisee vs. franchisor liability requires legal analysis.
