How to Escalate a Complaint

  1. Contact your Kia dealer first — All Kia vehicle sales and service are handled through independent franchise dealers. For warranty claims, service disputes, and recall work, the dealer has primary authority.
  2. Call 1-800-333-4542 — For complaints not resolved at the dealer, Kia Consumer Affairs mediates between customers and dealers and can authorize goodwill warranty decisions beyond standard policy.
  3. Request a Kia Regional Manager review — If your Consumer Affairs case is stalled, request escalation to a Regional Field Manager, who has greater goodwill authorization authority than phone agents.
