About

Anytime Fitness is the world’s largest 24/7 fitness club franchise, headquartered at 111 Weir Drive, Woodbury, Minnesota — an 80,000 sq ft campus built and opened in April 2016 from its original Hastings, MN home. Founded in 2002 by Chuck Runyon, Jeff Klinger, and Dave Mortensen, Anytime Fitness has grown to 5,000+ clubs in 30+ countries serving 3 million+ members. In November 2024, parent company Self Esteem Brands merged with Orangetheory Fitness to form Purpose Brands LLC — now the umbrella parent for Anytime Fitness, Orangetheory, The Bar Method, Basecamp Fitness, Waxing the City, and Stronger U — with former Topgolf CEO Tom Leverton named as Purpose Brands CEO, and Chuck Runyon transitioning to Co-Chair of the Board. Purpose Brands is headquartered in both Woodbury, MN and Boca Raton, FL.

In 2025, Anytime Fitness opened more than one new club per day globally — a record pace — and in Q4 2025 added Patricia Perry as Chief Development Officer to lead franchise development across all Purpose Brands fitness concepts. Several directories (including multiple SalesTools language variants) incorrectly list the address as 111 Radio Dr, Woodbury, MN 55125 — the confirmed correct address per LinkedIn primary, ZoomInfo, and Seamless.AI is 111 Weir Drive.

How to Escalate a Complaint

  1. Contact your home club’s owner directly — franchise owners have the most direct authority; ask for the owner by name, not just front desk staff.
  2. Call ABC Fitness at 888-827-9262 and email customercare@abcfitness.com for all billing disputes — they can stop unauthorized recurring charges and correct over-billing.
  3. Send cancellation via certified mail to both your home club AND ABC Fitness Solutions — keep all receipts. Charges billed after proper notice can be disputed with your bank.
  4. Call 1-800-704-5004 and email member.solutions@sebrands.com for corporate escalation — request a Franchise Business Consultant be assigned to intervene with your franchise owner.
  5. Send a certified letter to HQ at Anytime Fitness Franchisor, LLC, Attn: Member Solutions, 111 Weir Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125 with member ID, home club address, all prior contact dates.
  6. Dispute with your bank — block future charges from the merchant entirely, not just dispute past charges.
  7. File with the BBB under your specific club’s location chapter and separately under the Woodbury, MN chapter for corporate-level complaints.
  8. File with your state AG — state fitness club laws and the FTC’s updated Negative Option Rule (effective 2025) create specific legal obligations for subscription cancellation and auto-renewal disclosures.
  9. File with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov under the Negative Option Rule if Anytime Fitness’s cancellation process is unreasonably harder than sign-up
