3. Know your cruise contract rights — Carnival’s ticket contract — which you agree to when booking — contains critical clauses: mandatory arbitration for many disputes, a one-year filing deadline for claims (shorter than standard contract limitations in many states), and a forum selection clause requiring Miami-Dade County jurisdiction. Review your ticket contract before escalating legally.
