Important Notice for Travelers Spirit Airlines is currently operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (second filing, Case No. 25-11897, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York, filed August 29, 2025). Flights are operating as normal. The airline has received court approval to honor all existing tickets, reservations, flight credits, and Free Spirit loyalty points. The court has also approved payment of wages, benefits, and critical vendor obligations.
