How to Escalate a Complaint

  1. Call customer service first — 1-800-OKLOVES (1-800-655-6837). For in-store issues, have the store number ready. Document the date, rep name, and any reference number provided.
  2. Submit a written complaint online — Visit loves.com/contact-us and complete the contact form with full details. Written submissions are routed to the relevant regional operations team for the specific store involved.
  3. Request escalation to the district or regional manager — Love’s operates a tiered management structure by region. If your complaint involves a specific store and the first-level call does not resolve it, ask to have your case escalated to the District Manager for that location.
  4. Send a certified letter to HQ — Write to Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc., 10601 N Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Include the store number and location, the date of the incident, prior contact details, and the specific resolution you are seeking.
  5. File with the BBB — Love’s is listed with the Better Business Bureau in Oklahoma City. File at bbb.org for formal corporate response.
  6. For fuel quality issues — Contact your state’s weights and measures division or fuel quality regulator. Each state has an authority responsible for fuel quality standards at retail fuel stations.

Executive Leadership

Greg Love — Co-Chief Executive Officer (since 2014)

Greg Love is a second-generation member of the founding Love family and has served as Co-CEO alongside his brother Frank since 2014. He joined Love’s in 1991 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma and worked his way through multiple operational roles before ascending to the top leadership position. Greg oversees the company’s broad strategic direction including network expansion, technology investments, and diversification into alternative fuels and truck services. Under his and Frank’s leadership, Love’s has more than doubled its location count and expanded from a single-branded chain into a multi-subsidiary Family of Companies.

Frank Love — Co-Chief Executive Officer (since 2014)

Frank Love is Greg’s brother and the other second-generation Co-CEO of Love’s. He joined the company in 1994 after a stint in the hospitality sector and has been a board member of the National Association of Truck Stop Owners (NATSO) since 2016. Frank plays a primary assistive role in guiding the company’s overall strategic direction, with particular focus on external industry relationships and advocacy.

Shane Wharton — President (since April 2019)

Wharton was the first non-family member to break into a top management position at Love’s when he was named President in 2019 — a newly created role at the time. He previously served as Love’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing finance, accounting, and capital allocation during a period of aggressive expansion. As President, Wharton oversees Love’s operations and fleet sales, human resources, IT, and legal departments, reporting directly to Co-CEOs Greg and Frank Love.

Jenny Love Meyer — Chief Culture Officer & Executive Vice President

Jenny Love Meyer is the daughter of founders Tom and Judy Love and a third-generation leader within the business. She serves as Chief Culture Officer and EVP, focusing on employee experience, company culture, and the family’s founding philosophy of treating all team members like family. She also plays a key role in community relations and philanthropy through the Love’s Foundation.

Judy Love — Co-Owner & Board Member

Judy Love co-founded Love’s with her late husband Tom Love in 1964. Following Tom’s passing in March 2023, Judy remains a co-owner of the company and a guiding family presence in the business. The Love family — spanning three generations — collectively owns 100% of the company with no outside institutional investors or public float.
